Education
The Lew Jewett Chapter is active in educational experiences that promote the sport and art of fly fishing. Several times a year seminars are provided for the public which cover the elements of equipment, fly casting and fly tying. Recent events were held in partnership with the U. S. National Park Service and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources at William O'Brian State Park and Wild River State Park. An annual casting event is held each March at the athletic dome in Stillwater. These family events include older children. Events are Free to the public; however a Park pass is required for the State Parks.
